Chef Cox treated us to an exceptional menu that celebrated the best of summer’s bounty, bringing the Hamptons vibe into the heart of #NYC. 🚀 We recently hosted an event with Fast Company during their Taste of Innovation Festival, centered around the theme "Bridging the Diversity Gap in the Kitchen." The panel featured our Founder & CEO, Brian Mommsen, alongside our talented Resident chefs, Chef Nancy Nguyen and Chef Deborah Jean. During the panel, our Chef partners candidly shared the challenges they've faced in the fine dining industry, one that has historically been challenging for women and minorities. The discussion was followed by an incredible collaborative tasting menu from the two chefs. Resident is proud to have built the most diverse roster of chefs anywhere, representing women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people of color, and those who cook underrepresented, regional-specific cuisines. Of our active Head Chefs, 81% come from underrepresented backgrounds. This diversity not only enriches our culinary landscape but also helps raise awareness and prominence for these incredible talents and cuisines.
