About us
My family suffers from autoimmune diseases and neurological conditions such as ADHD, MS, Autism, and more. Through our journey, we discovered that these issues are often linked to inflammation, with sugar being the biggest (and sneakiest) culprit. By changing our diet, we have been able to decrease or completely put these problems into remission! One Halloween, I searched for candy that didn't contain inflammatory ingredients. From Whole Foods to local health food stores, I found two major problems: 1. The taste was awful. 2. Many brands marketed as healthy still included inflammatory or unnecessary ingredients. I loved the fun packages and candy at Halloween, and I wanted to give my kids the same experience. It devastated me. So, I started making my own candy, beginning with gummies. After dozens of batches that my kids completely spat out, I finally cracked the code! My kids began eating the batches in droves, and I couldn't keep up with their demand. I started sharing my candy with friends, family, and acquaintances, and the reaction was the same—from children to adults. BINGO! Seeing the opportunity to help many more people in my exact situation, or parents seeking a healthy alternative they could confidently give their kids, Pure Yums was born. My two requirements: 1. Ingredients must be simple and create zero inflammation. 2. The candy MUST taste absolutely delicious! Here we are today, months away from launching this brand of candy gummies to the marketplace!
