ONL bookended a fantastic year with our 2024 Winter Quarterly Meeting last Friday, December 13th, on the topic of Leading Health Equity and Building Strong Teams: How Nurse Leaders Can Amplify Their Impact. It was a revitalizing and inspiring event, bringing together more than 250 nurse leaders, including more than 100 first-time participants, for rich professional learning, collaboration, connection, and celebration. The event included 50 poster presentations highlighting the incredible work happening in our region, our ONL Business Meeting, time with our vendor partners, and thought-provoking, insightful presentations by Dr. Vincent Guilamo-Ramos, "Ending Unequal Treatment in Healthcare Revisited: How Nurse Leaders Must Continue to Lead for Health Equity," and by Dr. Therese Hudson-Jinks, "Authentic Leadership Training and the Impact on a Healthy Work Environment." Thank you to all who participated!

Dartmouth Health was well represented at last week's Organization of Nurse Leaders (ONL) Winter Quarterly Meeting. Paula Seaman, MSN, DA, RN, CENP, Chief Nursing Officer at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD), Karen Beinhaur, MSN/Ed, RN, CEN, NEA-BC, New London Hospital (NLH) Chief Nursing Officer, Amy Visser-Lynch, MSN, RN, CENP, Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) Chief Nursing Officer, and Susan Odden, therapist with Trivium Integrative Mental Health presented a poster, "Trauma Informed to Trauma Active: A Mental Health Program for Nurses," at the conference. This poster presentation highlighted the partnership with Trivium Integrative Mental Health for embedding mental health, and includes the results of a pilot with this model using evidence-based interventions at APD. The program team is now replicating the model for use at MAHHC and NLH. The presentation team focused on the impact on nursing, but this program is available to all employees at these locations. We appreciate this example of the incredible work throughout the Dartmouth Health system that is transforming nursing practice and patient care in our region.
