    Co-founder & CEO @ Octave | Welcome to Generative GTM

    Last week we heard the The RevTech Review was going to do a deep dive on Octave... And that was before we even had a chance to meet with them, or show them around the app ourselves... We saw their tagline... "No bullsh*t reviews of popular Revenue Technology by experts"... Alright, not gonna lie, that was a 'big gulp, hope it works' moment ha... Luckily it appears they immediately understood what we're building and why we're so excited about giving every company a purpose built home for their messaging and positioning ❤️ Please check out their in-depth review in the link below. Mollie B. and Mallory Lee thank you so much for taking the time to go deep in the weeds and share your findings, and a special thanks to Adam Jay ♾️ for connecting us all 🙏

    Co-founder & CEO @ Octave | Welcome to Generative GTM

    Have a couple very exciting Octave updates to share! First up is new models 🧠 We’ve heard two things from our customers the last couple months: 1. They want a more cost efficient path for generating sequences that don't require as much personalization. 2. They also want a more robust path for sequences that are more deeply personalized, where things like tonality and inflection become more important. Today we’re launching our Pulse, Echo, and Harmony models. Pulse is our fastest and most efficient model, Echo is our balanced model (this has been our default to date), and Harmony is our smartest model. These are a lot more than cute names slapped on the LLMs you already know. These are bespoke pipelines we’ve carefully tuned specifically for B2B GTM workflows, and are available for use across all core functions of the platform (agents, templates, fully generative sequences, etc.). Second update is new plans 💰 We’ve doubled the amount of credits on all our self-serve plans to allow users to bring Octave into even more of their workflows. Not too much more to it than that really… you can now do a whole lot more for the same price. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to bring Octave into every workflow where ICP-aware intelligence can propel your GTM motions. Driving down costs to make this happen will always be a top priority for us. For all our existing customers, you’ve already been moved to the new limits automatically ☺️ Pumped to see what y’all build next, and we still got a few more surprises up our sleeves for 2024...

  • We're not crying ... you're crying! 🥹 "I think Octave will be the next big thing. Not only does a great job of writing copy but helps with analytics/defining ICP and tailors the copy specifically to that prospect based on its findings."

    You can do without 99% of outbound automation tools. But these are 7 must-haves in 2024 (or you will get left behind) ↳ Apollo.io: The B2B Database that is the bang for your buck ↳ Sales Navigator: The mother of databases - where all databases come to get their information ↳ Prospeo: The best tool for finding verified emails from sales navigator ↳ Clay: If you haven’t heard of Clay by now you’re living under a rock. It’s the most powerful tool in outbound automation - learn it, use it ↳ lemlist: My go-to for multi-channel outreach. Currently I use it for Linkedin automation but it can do much more ↳ RB2B: Identify anonymous website visitors. Gather their LI/emails, qualify them in Clay, and launch evergreen campaigns. These are our highest performing campaigns ↳ Instantly.ai: Starting to separate themselves. They have a DFY email infra, database, email verification, website visitors, and handle all your sending needs (more on this soon) BONUS! ↳Artisan: The best AI Agent I’ve seen, can automate an entire BDR’s workflow ↳ Unify: Not talked about enough. Also have a database, but what makes them stand out is their high-intent signals and trigger playbooks - maximum relevance These tools alone will take your sales team to the next level. What’d I miss?

    🧑🏻💼Cofounder @Cymate || ✔️Certified Clay Expert || Scaling B2B Sales Pipeline with Outbound

    This tool is going to be huge in 2025. I’m calling it 👌 Our team at Cymate has been experimenting with this for the past month, and we’re rolling it out to all our clients (if applicable). It’s called Octave. You write your cold email copy in the backend, and it will generate messages tailored to different prospects, depending on their: - Job title - Company description - Role-specific pain points - How long they’ve been at the company - Etc. All with a single API. Here's the thing, You still need to understand how to write good copy. Because without a solid understanding of what makes a good offer, you won’t be able to instruct it correctly. This tool, paired with a solid copywriter, is going to be a game changer for B2B cold email. Not affiliated, not paid promotion, just a HUGE fan of what Zach Vidibor is building 🤝 Cymate 🛠️

  • We just released our first agents to customers last week, and the results are coming in already. Please let us know if you want help building your own agent powered outbound flows 🤖

    Founder - Content Marketing Media. Professional approaches to Cold Email and Lead Generation. We help Enterprise Level customers with Cold Email. Certified @Clay and @Instantly Experts and Partners.

    Last week we introduced the first true AI Agents into our lead generation and copy production process. We build these agents with Octave, deployed them to a Clay table, then produced thousands of unique messages across multiple campaigns. Of course this is exciting, but results matters. Here are some early results for one client: 1) 6 meetings booked last week (campaign launched on Wednesday 11/20) 2) Industries included ecomm, advertising, software, and event services 3) Total revenue of 6 companies - 43.9 million 4) Lowest revenue of company 2.2 million - highest 16.8 per year 5) Roles: Founder - CMO, CEO, COO We actually built two agents, A/B tested them both, one got 6 Interested replies in 3 days, the other 5. Collectively they got over a 50% book rate so far. I am thinking our AI agents are doing pretty good week #1:)

    Founder - Content Marketing Media. Professional approaches to Cold Email and Lead Generation. We help Enterprise Level customers with Cold Email. Certified @Clay and @Instantly Experts and Partners.

    Today we launched what is likely the first ever cold email campaign created entirely with AI Agents. Partnering with Octave, we build customized agents that create copy based on highly personalized playbooks and detailed research on every lead. These agents will dynamically adjust to case studies, multiple copy styles, lead research, and highly unique variables. Even more importantly, we can directly add them to our Clay tables and split test copy, across one client or many. As a company who has also believed the AI is changing cold email, lead generation and marketing as a whole, this is a huge step in iterating and delivering results for our clients. This is the future and now the present, and we are extremely excited to be working with Julian Tempelsman and Zach Vidibor at Octave to make this happen!

    Stop asking for a meeting in your outbound 🚫 We’ve been observing CTAs across our customers, and here’s the TLDR of what’s working right now: The ‘meeting request’ is by far the lowest performing 📉 The ‘can I send a short video’ is the highest performing 📈 And it just makes sense if you think about it… Stranger says, “Can I have 30 minutes from you?” Hrmm, no thanks. Stranger says, “Can I share a 2 minute video about how we’re helping other folks like you [persona specific job to be done]? Alright, I’m listening... And it doesn’t have to be a video. In general, the CTAs that offer a resource, share a tactic, suggest an intro, etc. are all performing much better than asking for time. Time is incredibly precious, and there are more people than ever asking for it. Start by providing people value, creating interest, presenting something that’s easy to say yes to, or even just respond to. Asking people to look at their calendar is immediately stress-inducing for most; that’s not an easy yes. Earn the right to make the ask. Try to be empathetic to your prospects, think about what you would want to hear, and try to make it feel like a give and not a take. Let people opt-in to the conversation first, then ask for the time. Don’t forget, sales is just as much human psychology as anything else… we'll see how all the AI SDRs do with that 😄 What are you all seeing out there? What CTAs are working best?

    Founder at TAM to Target | Helping B2B Companies Scale with Cold Outbound | Data-driven Lead Gen Super Nerd

    I used to spend hours developing super-targeted, personalized outreach copy. Now it takes just 30 minutes ✌ That’s not an exaggeration. We’ve completely updated our lead generation process with a system I built around a platform called Octave. And just to be clear—this isn’t a promo for Octave… (though, if they’re reading, I wouldn’t mind if it was, haha). I’m just sharing what’s working for us. Octave helps us analyze lead data and create hyper-personalized outreach, at scale. It’s really fast, and the messaging we’re getting is pretty legit. We're even seeing similar, if not better, positive replies from that messaging than we are with our most complex workflows that used to take us hours to do. What’s changed for us? ➜ We’re targeting leads with more precision. By feeding Octave real-time campaign data and client insights, we get segmented lists ranked by conversion likelihood. No more guessing who’s a fit 🥱 ➜ Personalization is faster and more effective. Instead of generic outreach, every message we send is tailored based on real data about each lead, and it’s all done automatically. Octave even matches all of our clients references to the prospect, selecting the reference and impact language that best matches the client. ➜ We’ve seen a massive reduction in manual work. Our time spent on personalization has dropped by 75%, freeing us up to focus on actual conversations and closing deals. We’re now shifting to a model where we are launching 2x Octave campaigns per day alongside 3x regular plays. It’s taking over 40% of our volume. And the best part is that we can still use all of the personalized data we love to scrape - Ad presence, current clients, product info - you can feed all of that programatically into Octave and have it leverage it in messaging 🤓 This 100% has become one of our secret sauces, but I want to be honest about how I do things here and try to share the knowledge. For those of you running lead generation agencies or working with high-end clients, this seems like a big step closer to matching quality sending with volume. So, hope that encourages you to give their free trial it a try. And, if you find the tool helpful, let me know. Maybe we can share some ideas and use cases! Also, repost this so it reaches more people in the community ♻️ Want to know how you can improve your leadgen results? Let’s chat. I’d be happy to share more of what’s working for us.

    "Octave: Probably the first AI product that went hard on cracking outbound messaging. It helps you uncover your ICP's priorities and pain points and draft relevant messages based on that information."

    There are > 2,500 prospecting tools on ColdIQ’s website. Here are 27 you *must* know about 👇 1️⃣ The ones we use all the time For data enrichment → Clay: go.coldiq.com/clay → Prospeo: go.coldiq.com/prospeo → FullEnrich: go.coldiq.com/fullenrich → LeadMagic: go.coldiq.com/leadmagic To power our sending → lemlist: go.coldiq.com/lemlist → Instantly: go.coldiq.com/instantly → HeyReach: go.coldiq.com/heyreach → Smartlead: go.coldiq.com/smartlead To close deals: → Qwilr (to make custom proposals) → Attention (to record & transcribe meetings) For intent: → RB2B (to identify people on our website) 2️⃣ The newest additions to our stack (with great results) → Common Room (to capture and layer intent signals) → Breakcold (to nurture warm leads on LinkedIn) → Default (to automate our inbound workflows) 3️⃣ The ones with *unique* value propositions → Ocean.io (lookalike company targeting) → Twain (real-time AI copywriting co-pilot) → Telescope (the Tinder of prospect research) → Sendspark (ai-personalized videos, at scale) 4️⃣ The 'coolest' tech I'm *completely* bullish on → Vector It does on-site visitor identification, but its flagship product is off-site identification. In short, they're able to know who's researching your keywords and identify them. For us, it could mean knowing who's looking for "AI Sales tools" (Precisely the kind of people we'd want to be talking with!) → Octave Probably the first AI product that went hard on cracking outbound messaging. It helps you uncover your ICP's priorities and pain points and draft relevant messages based on that information. → Unify An end-to-end solution for automated outbound, based on triggers and intent signals. One of the closest platforms to being a true all-in-one solution. → Artisan An AI SDR.. that actually writes good emails! I've been sceptical about AI SDRs for the longest time, but both the underlying technology (AI) and these products are improving. Most don't like to hear this, but the future of sales involves robots 🤖 P.S: What tool did I miss?

    Co-Founder of RevGen Labs & RevReply | AI + Sales + Growth Hacking

    At RevGen Labs, we've been trying out some killer tools lately. Here is one we’re really digging. The tool is Octave Octave helps you with: 1️⃣ Really build out your ICP definition (using their 500M+ record database). Probably more thoughtfully than you ever have tbh. 2️⃣ Develop GTM positioning with a compelling value prop that gets your prospects excited. 3️⃣ Build Go-To-Market Playbooks, by analysing which angles work best for each type of client and then you can plug it into Clay to supercharge it. Their platform is very intuitive. You can build a playbook in < 5 mins. Which means you can build multiple playbooks, quickly. Here’s how we’re using Octave - - We start by building our client personas and segments very quickly, and very thoughfully. - For each segment, we create a minimum of one playbook—ideally, two to three. This allows us to tailor our approach and messaging. - We leverage n8n automations to personalize our outreach at scale, and add insights from Octave into our outreach. (If you’re not ready for that, you could use a tool like Clay to help) Kudos to Zach Vidibor and team for creating it. And here’s Dan Rosenthal and I chatting about some of our recent favorite tech. P.S. Let us know in the comments who has tried Octave.
