OCP's General Manager of the Cleveland office, Sean Parker, recently sat on a panel about Professional Communication at Construction Employers Association (CEA)'s Young Professionals Development Forum!
What a great turnout for CEA’s 1st Young Professionals Development Forum Event at Topgolf in Cleveland, coordinated by CEA’s Director of Member Engagement, Jackie Ruhlin. With 70 of our members’ young professionals in attendance, this event covered relevant topics that many learn more about to help grow their careers. The day included a panel on Career Paths and Self-Development moderated by Tony DiGeronimo (Precision Environmental Company) with panelists Jim Fox (The Great Lakes Construction Co.), Jeremy Angel, P.E. (The Ruhlin Company), Brian Exl (The Ritenour Group), and Al Arndt (Turner Construction Company); a duo presentation on Standard Construction Must-Know Items by Jackie Cooper, PE (The Ruhlin Company), and Dave Elsey (The GPD Group); and a panel on Professional Communication moderated by Pam Neckar (Impact Project Development, LLC) with panelists Elise Nagy (Turner Construction Company), Justin Alaburda (Brennan Manna Diamond) and Sean Parker (OCP Contractors, Inc.). With raving survey reviews from the attendees, 100% of those who took the follow-up survey said they would recommend this event to someone else and 100% said they would attend this event again if it had new panelists & topics. Thank you to our member participants and sponsors, we couldn’t have done it without you! We look forward to hosting another event like this next year Lead Sponsors: Regency Construction Services, Inc., Frantz Ward LLP, The Ruhlin Company, Turner Construction Company Associate Sponsors: Infinity Paving Company, Cook Paving & Construction Co., Inc.,The Albert M.
