Last week, some of our members attended the CIGRE Paris Session. Below, you can see Francisco Javier Cifuentes Garcia, Merijn Van Deyck, and Eros Avdiaj (the winner of last year's presentation competition) presenting their work in the B4 poster session and Oscar Delbeke in one of the two CIGRE NGN contributions during the B1 group discussion meeting. Emanuel De Boe and Frédéric Sabot presented as well in the B2 and C4 poster sessions. Stay tuned, news about our upcoming technical and social events is coming soon!

Last week I had the chance to represent my company Terna SpA at CIGRE Paris Session 2024 presenting the paper "Modelling of Dual - Core Phase Shifting Transformer in ATP-EMTP" during the CIGRE SC A2. The paper was also discussed during the CIGRE NGN competition which once again confirms to be an amazing network to meet young engineers from all around the world. Special thanks to my colleagues Pierluigi Vacante Lorenzo Papi Gaia Leone Elena Benedetti who shared with me this experience and to Luca Buono and Francesco Palone who preciously contribute to the development of the preseted paper.

Last week I had the opportunity to represent Terna SpA at the CIGRE Paris Session 2024 where I presented two papers on HV cable systems, respectively on #screencurrents and 36 kV short links #design process. I was also honored to partecipate to the CIGRE NGN U35 showcase competition. It was the second time for me at the Palais, but the feelings were the same as the first! An exciting week spent by attending sessions, exchanging views and getting insights on innovative solutions. Special thanks to Luca Guizzo and Paolo Falessi, who contributed to the presented works and had been part of such an amazing week! #cables #Paris
