With 150 kiosks installed across property management offices, these state-of-the-art tools make tasks like paying rent, submitting work orders, and completing annual recertifications easier than ever! 🏘️ 🔑 Key Features: ✅ Larger monitors for easy navigation ✅ Multipage scanners for document uploads ✅ Accessibility features like audio jacks ✅ Privacy barriers for confidentiality 💡 “The new and improved features of the kiosk are accessibility and good information. Residents are able to retrieve information very easily and navigate within the website more easily. The kiosk helps residents take ahold of their own account and be very self-sufficient.” said Kim Maxwell, Neighborhood IT Manager. .🌟 Giving Back This Thanksgiving: Gratitude in Action This Thanksgiving, New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) joined forces with residents, local businesses, elected officials, and community organizations to ensure families across the city had a season of warmth, gratitude, and delicious meals. Thanks to the incredible support of our partners—including Gotham Gives, Tech:NYC, and the Champlain-Hudson Power Express—and the tireless efforts of our staff, we distributed over 1,500 turkeys, gift cards, and groceries to NYCHA residents. Together, we brought holiday cheer to over 10,000 New Yorkers across all five boroughs. For the first time, the entire Healthy Homes roster gathered to recognize the team for their extraordinary work in the area of resident health and safety and their customer service efforts. This gathering also featured team-building activities focused on enhancing customer service and collaboration across departments. “Exemplary customer service like yours is just so important!” said Lisa Bova-Hiatt. “It takes extraordinary dedication and effort to overcome extraordinary challenges – and you’re doing it! You go above and beyond every day in service to our mission and to our residents. The resident vote at Hylan Houses has resulted in a tie between the Trust and #PACT programs, both aimed at unlocking vital funding for comprehensive renovations. In accordance with the official voting procedures, a full recount to certify the existing tallies is scheduled for January 8, to be followed by a runoff vote if needed. “With the current tie between PACT and the Trust, the key takeaway is that residents of Hylan Houses are overwhelmingly hoping for something new,” said New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) Chief Executive Officer Lisa Bova-Hiatt. “It’s clear that residents want to see real changes to their homes, and we look forward to working closely with Hylan residents as we take the next step to see what the future holds.” Thank you to all residents who participated in shaping the future of their homes.
