DCAS Police members in all five boroughs were able to collect a record number of toys this year, 528, for the Toys for Tots program-doubling last year's numbers. Thanks to everyone who contributed and DCAS Police for their time and effort to make a difference for children during the holidays. 🎁

Meet Jennifer Boyce, a Supervisor Stock Worker at the DCAS Central Storehouse. Jennifer wears many hats in her position; she supervises the stock workers, handles IT problems, and certifies other agencies to ensure they use machines properly. Learn why Jennifer serves the City of New York.

Today, in partnership with Metropolitan College of New York we announced a new, groundbreaking effort to bring education right to our city workers. The new Education Propelling into Careers (EPIC @ MCNY) program offers current DCAS employees the chance to earn their high school equivalency along with 27 college credits over the course of three semesters. The EPIC @ MCNY program marks a first-of-its-kind partnership with MCNY, utilizing the college’s existing Pathways to Careers program which is designed to support career growth and educational advancement for agency staff, with the potential to expand to more agencies citywide. With our new E.P.I.C initiative, we’re opening doors, supporting our staff’s individual growth, and in the end, helping to build stronger communities and a more resilient workforce for New Yorkers.
