The Milwaukee Public Museum team achieved a major milestone with the successful completion of their first deck concrete pour! This pour required extensive planning and coordination, including managing embeds, large beams and BubbleDeck technology. Our team members demonstrated exceptional dedication and collaboration to prepare for this 500+ yard pour. The process spanned well over a typical 8-hour workday but resulted in an outstanding final product. Amazing job to everyone involved with this project!

Work sabbaticals often become transformative experiences. For Mortenson Project Manager Chad Tenold, he took advantage of the extended time away to go on a long-awaited international trip to explore the other side of the world. From touring Japan & Kenya with others he just met to exploring the United Kingdom, Australia & New Zealand on his own, Chad was able to fully disconnect from the day-to-day demands that come with managing a large construction project. His experiences strengthened his appreciation for traveling while prioritizing the need to take time for himself and enjoy the things he’s passionate about outside of work.
