Our project team at Los Angeles Community College District's Pierce College Academic East Building, including our design-build partners HED, celebrated another impressive milestone while topping out structural steel this week. 🏗️ Nebraska Medicine | Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center - Kearney: Bringing Cancer Care Closer to Western Nebraska! 🏗️ The new 53,000-SF Nebraska Medicine | Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center – Kearney welcomed their first patients on Monday, December 16, 2024. This is part of a statewide expansion of the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Centers located in the Omaha area. 🌟 Despite an unusually wet spring, the team adapted to keep moving forward with the on-time completion. Every detail has been a team effort with our location three hours away from the owner, design team and trade partners. However, that didn’t stop us from building strong relationships on a tight timeline. This facility represents a huge step forward in local cancer care, offering patients in Central and Western Nebraska a state-of-the-art space closer to home.
