Last week, we installed the final piece of steel at the Saint-Gobain New Worcester Administration Building, officially topping off the new structure. The collaboration between DPR, Saint-Gobain, Pure Development, CSO Architects, GPLA, Inc, Norgate, Bret Steel, and the rest of the project team was celebrated with a BBQ luncheon and beam signing ceremony. The project team for a confidential data center in Ashburn, VA, recently celebrated a major milestone: the topping out of the client’s four-story, 248,600-sq.-ft. facility, which broke ground in January 2024!🎉 To reach this point, the team drilled 133 caissons, poured over 1,500 linear feet of grade beams, installed more than 36,000 linear feet of duct bank, set 54,402 cubic feet of storm management systems, and erected 905 precast pieces. Over 81,914 manhours were worked without a single injury, reflecting the outstanding collaboration, teamwork, and partnership between DPR, the client, and the design-build team.
