  • Defining the boundaries, redefining the future! 🌍 Our DFW Geomatics team recently surveyed a 100-acre solar site near the lower southeast corner of New Mexico, right where the Texas and New Mexico state lines meet. The team performed an unmanned aerial systems (UAS) LiDAR topographic survey and an American Land Title Association / National Society of Professional Surveyors (ALTA/NSPS) land title survey, covering roughly 10 square miles. Through their dedication and expertise, they deliver invaluable insights to clients about site boundaries, ensuring accurate data for project planning, and driving progress toward sustainable development.

This year, McAdams was honored with the ACEC NC Engineering Excellence Award for our work on Hub RTP in Durham, North Carolina! 🎉 This 40-acre transformative mixed-use project marks a significant milestone for Research Triangle Park (RTP) by introducing a zoning district designed specifically for this site. For the first time in 50 years this new zoning district allows for retail, hotel, and residential, creating a multi-use vibrant space for the community and its visitors. Our team developed the initial master plan and provided surveying, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), stream restoration design, flood modeling, environmental permitting, and civil design expertise to shape the infrastructure of this innovative development. We are grateful to ACEC for recognizing this impactful project! We also want to say a big thank you to our McAdams teams and partners that worked hard to bring the Hub RTP to life!

Hear how collaboration, technical expertise, and stakeholder engagement brought this feasibility study to life, and learn about North Carolina Department of Transportation's (NCDOT’s) multimodal grant program and its role in achieving impactful outcomes. We hope to see you there! #TrailForum #Greenways #CarolinaThreadTrail #CreatingExperiences
