During a visit from our team, James bravely mentioned that he’d been daydreaming about a Titanic LEGO set. That’s where the Make-A-Wish Michigan community came in. Overnight, we worked to answer the daydream he so bravely whispered to our team. A wish enhancement like the one you’re about to see is exactly what James needed to spark his imagination and joy and ultimately led him to decide on his most heartfelt wish!

Sometimes a seemingly small moment changes everything. Today we continue our series “Journey of a Wish” featuring wish kid, James. He had been diagnosed with a heart defect, undergone multiple surgeries, and recently had been in the hospital for more than 200 consecutive days. Every day James navigated treatment and isolation.   During a hospital visit from our team, James bravely mentioned that he’d been daydreaming about a Titanic LEGO set.
