Landmark Properties has closed on the acquisition of a 0.58-acre site at 1208 South University Avenue in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The site, currently home to the Galleria Mall, will be transformed into The Metropolitan - an 18-story, 950+ bed student housing community steps from the University of Michigan campus.   This development marks Landmark's third ground-up residential project in Ann Arbor and seventh property under management in the market. The Metropolitan will feature fully furnished residences, premium amenities including a resort-style pool and rooftop lounge, and 5,200 square feet of ground-floor retail space.   Read more about our future development below!

Landmark Properties has partnered with Stockbridge to recapitalize The Retreat East, a 602-bedroom cottage-style student housing community near the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Completed in 2021, this property represents our second transaction with Stockbridge, following the recent acquisition of The Retreat Tampa.   The Retreat East features upscale cottage-style units with four-, five-, and six-bedroom options, complemented by an expansive amenity package including a resort-style pool with jumbotron, cutting-edge fitness center, and a well-appointed clubhouse. This cottage-style property, originally built by Landmark in 2017, features two-, three-, and four-bedroom units with premium finishes and resort-style amenities. Located just off of East Fowler Avenue, The Retreat at Tampa offers an unmatched location with less than a mile walk to classes and easy access to the university's Bull Runner shuttle.
