Nigeria is home to over 2.1 million children who have not received a single dose of vaccine. The JSI-led Zero-Dose Learning Hub (ZDLH), funded by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, is working to address the immunization gap in countries, including #Nigeria, through the application of high-quality data. The ZDLH’s research, published in Vaccine: X, highlights the need for understanding regional variations that can inform targeted interventions to address the unique needs of different geographies. The article summarizes the barriers and facilitators that led to significant regional disparities throughout the country. Learn more: bit.ly/40h89G3 #VaccinesWork #Immunization #GlobalHealth

Today, I had the privilege of representing JSI Ghana’s Country Representative, Dr. Henry Nagai, at the Annual General Meeting of the #Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health. JSI has partnered with the Coalition for over a decade, supporting the remarkable efforts of local civil society organizations #CSOs to strengthen Ghana’s health sector. From capacity strengthening in grants management and compliance to enhancing administrative systems, we have worked to support local CSOs to lead in advancing health outcomes. Our commitment remains steadfast as we collaborate with the Coalition and other stakeholders to address emerging challenges, such as environmental and public health issues while driving initiatives that improve the lives of all Ghanaians. Here’s to even stronger partnerships in the years ahead! #HealthSystemsStrengthening #CSOPartnerships #PublicHealth

Creating Healthy Schools and Communities (CHSC) is a public health initiative in #NewYork that implements a comprehensive, equitable, community-based participatory approach to increasing opportunities for physical activity and access to healthy food for people across the age span. As the statewide training and technical assistance provider, we support grantees' communication and sustainability activities. This infographic aims to increase awareness of CHSC among New York State policymakers and highlight its impact across the state.
