  • Joyn is now a Linear App 🎉 30% of our customer-base uses Linear and sees an average of 3,000 events in Linear every week. Knowing that, Linear quickly became a data source we knew we had to integrate with. Today, we can track Linear activity and map it back to other sources such as Slack, Notion, Google Drive, Asana, GitHub, and more giving teams a full picture of how efforts are progressing, shifting, and why. Most importantly, in a language that makes sense no matter what role you're in. While we’ve been integrated with Linear since earlier this year, we’re excited to be an official Linear app 🤗

  • "𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘢 𝘣𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴." - CS Leader at 750 Employee Software Company This change was probably a quick pick-up from the backlog that took engineering 10-minutes implement and product the satisfying feeling to check an item off the endless to-do list. But what seems small to product isn't always small to customer-facing teams. Involving customer-facing teams earlier could've mitigated the impact; maybe product would've added a way to highlight the new button placement in the UI or maybe customer-facing teams would've given customers a heads up to avoid the whiplash. But looking at our data, engineering and product often juggles 30+ priorities every week with 1,000+ events in Jira alone. Keeping track of everything while knowing who to involve when is ... a lot. We wondered - what if we could automatically detect what teams are working on and push that information to customer-facing teams in a language that speaks to them? So that's what we're doing. #CustomerSuccess #ProductManagement #Engineering #Collaboration #CustomerExperience #Joyn #Leadership

    CEO and Co-Founder of Joyn

I had a fantastic time chatting with Emily L. Sander, CPC, ACC about my journey from Chief of Staff to CEO and how that experience shaped what we're building at Joyn. As a Chief of Staff, I was thrown into the deep end daily; figuring things out on the fly, constantly reprioritizing, navigating complex internal dynamics, and ensuring every stakeholder was heard. While this was intense, it was the best possible experience to have before moving into a CEO role at a startup. One of my key takeaways as a Chief of Staff? Success in the Chief of Staff role is all about relationships. The role was only as effective as the connections I built and the clarity around it. Every Chief of Staff I’ve been fortunate to meet has a unique ability to understand people deeply while strategically pulling the right pieces together to keep everything moving forward. To listen or watch, I added Emily's links in the comments.

🔄 Work Smarter, Not Harder "I really don't want to use another tool on top of all these tools... I still find myself just going into JIRA, going into the spreadsheet, and just stitching my own thing together." - Larissa Licha Sound familiar? The modern workplace challenge isn't lack of tools - it's having too many. The solution isn't adding more tools, but better integrating the ones we have. Back at it with a new feature (summer) Friday. This Friday: Automated Weekly Insights. Why did we build this? * Reporting out on progress takes a lot of time and energy * The best updates speak to what the recipient needs to know * We spend too much time in update meetings What does it solve? * Automates weekly reporting across key initiatives, topics, and deliverables How? * Summarizes, extracts, and translates work happening across tools (think: Jira, Linear, Slack, Notion, etc) * Sends a personalized Weekly summary to your Slack * Allows you to curate and personalize over time What's next? * Understand user engagement and use value signals to improve personalization * Continue iterating and gathering feedback from other Eng, CS, and Ops leaders and ICs https://lnkd.in/etpgxDsH #featurefriday #buildintheopen #joyn #customersucess #engineeri #product

We're back! Happy Feature Friday :) This week's feature focuses on using Joyn to automatically extract trending topics across your team (and company). Why did we build this? * You don't know what you don't know * Surprises can be fun but work surprises... not so much ---- For Prod & Eng: unexpected customer requests can blow up your roadmap ---- For CS: Feeling uninformed can hurt your relationship with the customer What does it solve? * Gives you a snapshot of priorities and activities based on what people are actually swarming on How? * Summarizes, extracts, and translates work happening across tools (think: Jira, Linear, Slack, Notion, etc) * Sends most relevant topics directly to you via Slack * Allows you to deep-dive and follow relevant topics so you can stay in the loop What's next? * Collect and act on as much feedback as possible (hello feedback!) * Iterate on the level of personalization needed for each user and role * Improve on the deep-dive view and add trend-filtering logic https://lnkd.in/egX7VAYB #trendingtopics #featurefriday #buildintheopen #joyn #customersucess #engineering #product
