On this Giving Tuesday, we are grateful for the travelers who have donated to Journey For Good Foundation. Through their generosity, we are able to make a positive impact through our dining venues across North America and create connections with the communities we serve.
Today, we are proud to announce a record-breaking grant cycle, awarding nearly USD 1 million to 39 organizations across North America dedicated to fighting poverty. This milestone brings the Foundation's total giving in 2024 to nearly USD 1.5 million benefitting over 40 communities across the U.S. and Canada. “We are tremendously proud to increase our impact so significantly since Journey For Good Foundation’s formation just seven months ago, allowing us to support a wider range of initiatives addressing the root causes of poverty,” said Journey For Good Foundation President Paul Mamalian. “This milestone demonstrates the incredible commitment of Avolta team members and partners across North America, who work tirelessly to uplift their communities through sustainable practices, volunteerism, and charitable giving. Hudson is thrilled to share that under a new 18-year contract we will join JFK Millennium Partners and The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey in redefining the travel experience at John F. Kennedy International Airport's Terminal 6. Across more than 28,000 square feet in the new, state-of-the-art terminal, we will develop an expansive duty-free store featuring a Prohibition-style speakeasy, a hybrid concept and the first of its kind in any U.S. airport. Under our duty-paid contract, we'll open numerous travel convenience and specialty retail shops that will provide travelers with a mix of sought-after essentials and exciting products from local brands that embody the spirit of New York, further bringing a sense of place to the terminal that will resonate with international travelers. Today we announce an 18-year contract at John F. Kennedy International Airport — following the announcement of several other significant contract wins throughout North America this year, Avolta reaffirms its market leadership in US travel retail and travel food and beverage. Together with JFK Millennium Partners, Avolta will set a new standard for travel retail through the development of more than 2,600 m2 of reimagined space in JFK’s new, state-of-the-art terminal set to open in early 2026. The new contract to operate numerous concepts including duty-free, travel convenience, specialty and hybrid, will bring a strong sense of place to T6 through an immersive, New York City-inspired travel retail program alongside globally recognized brands.
