For the sixth and final installment of our #AI in Business Education series Nanyang Business School, in Singapore, supported a pilot project to redesign curricula and learning assessments to embrace generative AI tools through a case study project assessing the output of different GenAI prompts co-designed with faculty. Here are some quick facts about this case study: 🚧 Resource constraints: Running early pilots of innovative projects at low cost enables the university to explore many options before deciding where to invest in scaling successful initiatives 🥼 Prompt design: Developing effective prompts for generating meaningful AI outputs required significant effort and expertise 💪🏼 AI limitations: Ensuring students could critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs was both a challenge and a core element of the assessment design Read the full case study to learn how you can embrace GenAI in your curricula and assessments! https://ow.ly/pb7150Uy4R0 Thank you to the team at Nanyang who supported and worked on this pilot project! It’s the final countdown! Day seven of the 2024 #research insights wrap-up is here! Our most recent research report on the Application Trends Survey 2024 closes us out at #7. This year’s report is based on responses from nearly 1,100 graduate business school programs across the globe. It focused on volume trends by program type and delivery methods; diversity enrollment with an emphasis on women and U.S. underrepresented candidates; and the evolution of financial assistance from GME programs to incoming students. Similar to our other research reports this year, we introduced new survey questions about the use of AI, in particular for how business schools are using it in the classroom and in the application process. Here’s what you can take into your 2025 strategies: 🏎 2024 was a fantastic year for GME, with total applications increasing across the majority of programs, driven by a renewed interest in full-time, in person programs 🤖 78 percent of GME programs have integrated AI into their curriculum and learning experience; however, the majority of programs have not incorporated AI into their admissions processes 🥇 MBA and business master’s programs received a larger share of first-generation applicants compared to 2023 🤑 The likelihood of applicants receiving a merit-based scholarship and/or fellowship has been on the rise over the past decade, with financial assistance provided to more members of GME programs' incoming classes Read the full report and set yourself up for the 2025 application cycles! And that’s a wrap on our GME research insights for 2024, we can’t wait to see what we discover next year! https://hubs.la/Q030p2dv0 #GMAC #HigherEducation #MBA #BusinessEducation #GMAC2024 #GMACCountdown #NewYearCountdown

Day six of the 2024 #research insights wrap-up! For #6, we’re putting findings from the Corporate Recruiters Survey 2024 in the spotlight. This year’s report was based on responses from nearly 1,000 corporate recruiters and staffing firms around the world, and it focuses on the latest trends in desired skills, hiring, compensation, and employers' overall perceptions of the value of #GME. Here’s what you can take into your 2025 strategies: 🤖 The majority of employers are not too concerned about AI for current graduates, but believe it will become much more important in the coming years 🕵🏼♀️ Problem-solving, communication, and strategic thinking are at the top of the list for the most important skills that current GME graduates need to know 📏 Employers are growing more confident in GME based on measures of graduate success, promotion, and earnings —especially in the age of remote and hybrid work 📤 Employers planned to expand their hiring of GME grads this year, despite nearly three-quarters of employers reporting that inflation and recession fears have had an influence on their hiring decisions Check out the full report and all of the additional resources to see what employers are looking for and how you can change up your strategies for 2025! https://hubs.la/Q030p9KD0 #GMAC #HigherEducation #MBA #BusinessEducation #GMAC2024 #GMACCountdown #NewYearCountdown

Day five of the 2024 #research insights wrap-up! For #5, we are taking a trip back to the first quarter of this year, when the GMAC Prospective Students Survey 2024 continued to explore trends in the candidate pipeline, program preferences, mobility considerations, and career goals. Additionally, this year’s report introduced new areas that focus on demand for equity and inclusion, sustainability, and health and well-being in their academic experiences. Here are some quick facts to take into 2025: 🤖 Interest in #AI and its inclusion into curricula increased significantly over the past year 💻 Over the past five years, the preference for hybrid learning increased across the globe, except in Central and South Asia 🏠 Indian candidates are now looking to study closer to home, and Chinese students have less of an interest in studying in the United States 🥇 The two-year MBA took the top spot as the preferred degree spot, and the Master of Management had a strong renewed interest 💪🏼 Candidates are looking to develop strategy and business analytics from their GME curriculum, and problem-solving and data analysis and interpretation are top skills they expect to learn Check out the full report and all of the additional resources to see what candidates are looking for and how you can sharpen your strategies for 2025! https://hubs.la/Q030JrR60 #GMAC #HigherEducation #MBA #BusinessEducation #GMAC2024 #GMACCountdown #NewYearCountdown #GME
