Discover what drives her success, her unique approach to recruiting, and a glimpse into her personality that makes her such a valued part of our team! 👇 Outside of work, what are some hobbies or interests that help you recharge and bring new perspectives to your role? I enjoy challenges and believe people should seek out different perspectives. This year I wanted to see what it took to do high-altitude mountaineering and become an endurance athlete, so I trekked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal with my brother who summited. This past November, I finished my first Ironman triathlon. I would describe both experiences as grueling, but I wouldn't trade what I learned or the people that I met for the world. What advice would you give to someone new to the recruiting field about building a solid professional network? My dad always said, "Your word is your bond." My advice is to do exactly what you say you're going to do, and to listen with the intention of understanding, not responding. If you could describe your recruiting style in three words, what would they be? I would describe my style as persistent, genuine, and versatile. What steps do you take to ensure a positive candidate experience from start to finish? Bess Cadwell taught me this when I first started with Govig 10 years ago. It’s important to be clear with candidates about how you work from the start. First, you’ll keep communication open and expect the same in return. Second, you’ll be honest with them, even if the news isn’t what they want to hear.
