    Co-Founder - CEO at EarlyBird

Uncut CEO Episode #1 - Are investor updates necessary and what is a good format to write these emails? In short, hell yes. At the end of every quarter, Caleb Frankel and I write up two different emails for EarlyBird: 1. Internal Investor Update Email - This is more focused on the health of the business and a holistic picture of where we stand. 2. Keep Warm Investor Update Email - This is to every VC we have ever pitched that went well (now more than 250...). This email is much more focused on highlights and traction throughout the previous quarter. LEAN IN A LITTLE! This episode we dig into our Q1 Keep Warm Investor Email update that we just sent out last week on May 1st. Shoutout to Cabal for being a phenomenal tool for this process as this platform really keeps us stay organized and allows Caleb and I to seamlessly collaborate. Highly recommend it! See you on Wednesday, May 8th!

Partner at GTMfund | Host of The GTM Podcast | Author of The GTM Newsletter

Yesterday was my birthday. Instead of sharing some barely legible, strangely philosophical pontification on the lessons I’ve learned in my 32yrs, GTMfund decided to launch a free product in partnership with Cabal. A product that I wished I had my whole career. Today, Brian Murray and I are unveiling Warm Intro Navigator (WIN for short). We’ve been geeking out on the idea of “eco-system led growth” as the most effective way to scale in the efficiency era for over a year now. We’ve both been fortunate to build careers largely built on: building networks, providing value to those networks and then turning that value into revenue. So we wanted to write the de facto asset on the topic. It started out as an idea, that morphed into a blog post, that became a playbook and then we thought we needed to go deeper so we wrestled with the idea of a podcast series… And then we asked ourselves, what if we built an actual piece of software that people could use for free? Instead of telling people about the concepts that have brought us success, we gave them a tool that they could actually use to drive revenue/scale their org/hit their number. And after months of iteration, WIN was born. WIN is the easiest way to use your existing ecosystem to generate warm referrals to help you break into net new accounts, accelerate deal velocity and get higher in existing opportunities. It’s 100% free - you can jump in, claim your company account in seconds & instantly start generating pipeline from your investors, board members, execs and company supporters. Check it out and let us know what you think, we’re very open to feedback on how we can make it better/more valuable.  This will be an evolving product driven by commentary from the broader Tech/GTM community. We hope it helps you crush your quota, raise your next round/fund or activate the nascent value in your ecosystem to drive your business goals forward. 📈

New drop: Talent Marketplace 🎉 This one has been months in the making. Here's the gist: - VCs want to intro A+ talent to portcos - Portcos want intros to A+ talent - A+ talent want to be intro'd to great companies The process today is full of dropped balls and friction. We're fixing all that with this new feature. How it works: 1. VCs invite candidates to create a private profile 2. VCs privately share candidate lists with portcos 3. Portcos request intros to candidates 4. Candidates request intros to portcos 5. Everything is double-opt-in, logged and measured We were fortunate to partner closely with talent pros Cassie Chao Leemans and Mikelle Masciantonio to design the product to meet the needs of candidates, hiring managers, and talent teams. No small feat! Excited to make this available today. Link in comments to get started 💫

    Founder at 7️⃣7️⃣6️⃣

A couple years ago, Seven Seven Six 7️⃣7️⃣6️⃣ became the first VC to ever send quarterly Founder Update emails capturing all the work we did for our companies (data capture and updates are built right into Cerebro) so today I decided to just put the scoreboard right on our homepage: https://sevensevensix.com Anyone can check, anytime, to see what we’ve done for 776 founders in the last 365 days 😤 Venture is entering a new era of accountability. Don't fill your website with value-add platitudes — bring receipts! Founders and LPs will start asking questions that'll need data-driven answers: What's your median response time to founders? How many intros have you made for founders this quarter? How much distribution does your content actually provide for the portfolio?
