This holiday season, as we close out another transformative year, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the year we’ve had, the connections we’ve built and the impact we’ve made together! 💜 This year, we’ve accomplished so much together—transforming lives, challenging systems AND paving pathways to brighter futures. None of this would have been possible without our dedicated staff, our community of supporters and everyone who believes in the vision of a more equitable future for student parents. Our office will be closed from December 25 to January 1 so our team can enjoy this special time with loved ones. We’ll return on January 2, ready to continue making a difference in the lives of student parents and their families. Wishing you a joyful Christmas, a radiant Hanukkah, and a Kwanzaa filled with unity and light. Cheers to a season of celebration and a bright new year!

Sahdari Simmons, a Trinity Washington University student and mother to a four-year-old, recently moved into stable housing with the support of Generation Hope. Through emergency funding, scholarships, mentoring, and advocacy, we’re helping parenting students build stronger futures for their families. Last night’s holiday party was nothing short of magical! Despite the rain, our Programs team showed up with unwavering dedication to create a night to remember for our Scholars and their families. From festive crafting stations to warm cups of hot cocoa and apple cider, the evening was filled with connection and cheer. Santa himself delivered gifts that brought pure joy to every child’s face, thanks to the generosity of Buch Construction and the many donors and caring neighbors throughout the community. Together, they ensured every Scholar family left with hearts full and hands full of holiday surprises. This season, we celebrate not just the holidays but the incredible community we’re building together. To our Scholars — thank you for letting us be part of your journey. Here's to more moments of joy, support and togetherness! 💜
