    Recruiting CROs and CMOs for private equity-backed businesses

    Here's a framework for how to approach a question about metrics/KPIs in an interview: 1. Provide leading and lagging indicators 2. Showcase examples on how you create a data-driven culture with your teams 3. Share a story about how you used the data to catch something that needed fixing Listing off a bunch of metrics isn't a sign you're a data-driven person. It's about showing that you ingrain the data in your day-to-day and constantly use it as a guide to learn what needs fixing. #metrics #interviewtips

    Here are a few quotes from CROs who have had unfavorable experiences with transactional recruiters: "I spent 3 months in an interview process and was ghosted by the recruiter" "The recruiter sent me a vague message saying I wasn't a fit and provided no detail" "The recruiter told me relocation wasn't required only for me to find out later that it was (they just wanted to get me into process)" At Falcon, we take the candidate interview experience extremely seriously (we even measure it). Because we fundamentally believe in creating deep relationships with our executives...even if they don't fit the opportunity we're discussing. That approach pays incredible dividends in the long-run. Executives can feel when they're being treated like a transaction, and no one likes to be treated like that. #executiverecruiting

    Building Trust with Clients In today's world of Executive Search, having a steady pipeline of candidates is crucial to building a long term relationship with our clients. Given Falcon's focus on the PE-backed middle market, there is a constant need to stay ahead of market trends and keep clients informed of what we see with C suite candidates. The reality is that, in today's market, top candidates are often evaluating multiple opportunities. Having a steady stream of new candidates ready to interview is a point of pride at Falcon. We never want to be caught flat footed if a finalist candidate decides to withdraw, or accept another role they are evaluating.
