We promote and protect the right of every girl to gain a quality education.
About us
Educate Girls is a registered public charity in the US, founded in 2014. Our vision is that every girl is in school, learning & completes at least 12 years of education. We have provided funds for work in India to enroll girls into government schools, to improve learning outcomes for both boys and girls in rural village schools and to build awareness about the crisis in girls’ education. In partnership with local partners in India, we have ensured that over 1 million girls have been enrolled into school and improved learning outcomes for over a million children in India.

Happy New Year! 🎉 Despite its incredible potential, girls' education remains one of the most underfunded areas in global development. As we step into 2025, let's make this the year we revolutionize the world and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by investing in girls' education. When girls are educated, they are more likely to delay marriage, contribute to their families' income, and ensure their children are healthier and better educated. This ripple effect extends far beyond the individual—transforming communities, reducing poverty, improving health, and driving economic progress. Together, let's make a lasting change! #EducateGirlsUSA #EducateGirls #SDGs #GlobalImpact #InvestInGirls #EducationForAll #GirlsEducation #India

Education is a powerful tool for building peaceful, just, and inclusive societies. When girls are educated, they become powerful agents of change. They challenge discrimination, advocate for their rights, and build stronger, more inclusive communities. Educated girls are more likely to participate in decision-making processes and demand accountability from their leaders. They drive social progress, fostering greater justice and equality for all. At Educate Girls, we are committed to ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to learn and lead. Support SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions by investing in girls' education today. #EducateGirlsUSA #EducateGirls #UnitedNations #PeaceJusticeStrongInstitutions #SDG16 #GirlsEducation #Equality #Advocacy

Educating girls is a powerful weapon in the fight against climate change. When girls are educated, they become leaders in environmental sustainability. They develop the knowledge and skills to adapt to climate change, build resilience in their communities, and advocate for policies that protect our planet. Studies show that educating girls leads to lower fertility rates, contributing to reduced carbon emissions. In fact, if all girls completed secondary education, we could save an estimated 80 gigatons of carbon emissions – a significant step towards mitigating climate change. By investing in girls' education, we are investing in a sustainable future for all. Support SDG 13: Climate Action and empower the next generation of climate leaders. #EducateGirlsUSA #EducateGirls #UnitedNations #ClimateAction #SDG13 #GirlsEducation #Sustainability #EmpowerGirls #GreenFuture #ClimateLeaders #EnvironmentalResilience

In India, women leaders in village councils have demonstrated the power of education to drive positive change. They advocate for development, challenge traditional gender norms, and create a more equitable society for all. Educated women are more likely to participate in decision-making, from local councils to national governments, fostering a more just and democratic world. At Educate Girls, we are committed to breaking down barriers to education and empowering girls to become leaders in their communities and beyond. By supporting SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, we can help girls break the cycle of poverty, marginalization, and exclusion. Let's invest in girls' education and build a more equitable future for all. #EducateGirlsUSA #EducateGirls #UnitedNations #ReducedInequalities #SDG10 #EmpowerGirls #Leadership #GirlsEducation #SocialChange #India

Educating girls is not just about academic achievement; it's about empowering the next generation of energy leaders. When girls are educated, they become champions for sustainable energy solutions, advocating for policies that promote environmental protection and equitable access to clean energy for all. By equipping girls with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive, we are investing in a future powered by innovation, sustainability, and female leadership. When girls are educated, they not only gain the ability to improve their own futures but also contribute to the broader transition to clean and affordable energy. Education fosters leadership, allowing women to champion energy policies that promote environmental sustainability, reduce energy poverty, and increase access to clean energy for all. Join us in supporting SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, and empower future women leaders who will drive the change toward a more sustainable and energy-efficient world. #EducateGirlsUSA #EducateGirls #UnitedNations #AffordableCleanEnergy #SDG7 #GirlsEducation #EnergyLeadership #SustainableEnergy #CleanEnergy #EmpowerGirls #FutureLeaders #SustainableDevelopment

Access to clean water and sanitation is essential for building healthy communities, and girls' education plays a key role in achieving this goal. Educated girls are more likely to learn about hygiene and sanitation practices, which can directly improve the health of their families and communities. With this knowledge, they can help prevent waterborne diseases and promote better water usage and sanitation practices. At Educate Girls, we are committed to ensuring every girl has access to education that promotes better health and environmental awareness. Support SDG 6 by investing in education for young girls and women in India today. Together, we can create healthier, more resilient communities with girls leading the way in improving sanitation and water access. #EducateGirlsUSA #EducateGirls #UnitedNations #CleanWaterSanitation #SDG6 #GirlsEducation #HygieneAwareness #WaterAccess #HealthierCommunities #EmpowerGirls #SustainableDevelopment

Education is the cornerstone of gender equality. When girls complete their education, they gain more control over their lives. They are more likely to choose their own partners, delay marriage, and have fewer children. In regions like South Asia, providing secondary education to all girls could reduce child marriages by 64%, freeing millions from the cycle of early marriage and motherhood. This empowers them to participate fully in society, driving economic growth and reducing poverty. Education not only helps women achieve personal empowerment but also strengthens communities. Girls with more education are more likely to participate in decision-making, have a voice in politics, and access leadership opportunities. At Educate Girls, we are working to break down the barriers that keep girls from learning, empowering them to shape their own futures and achieve gender equality. By supporting our work, you are investing in a future where every girl has the opportunity to reach her full potential and contribute to a more just and equitable world. Join us in advancing SDG 5: Gender Equality by supporting education for every girl. #EducateGirlsUSA #EducateGirls #UnitedNations #GenderEquality #SDG5 #EmpowerGirls #EndChildMarriage #GirlsEducation #India #EmpowerGirls

Educated girls are leaders, innovators, and agents of change—being less vulnerable to early marriage, violence, and exploitation and being more likely to drive progress towards a more equitable and prosperous future. At Educate Girls, we are dedicated to breaking down the barriers that are preventing girls in rural India from accessing quality education. When we invest in girls, we invest in a brighter future for entire communities. Support SDG 4: Quality Education and help empower girls to reach their full potential.
