🌟 Reflecting on our first Expo West experience! ✨ Expo West 2024 was an absolute whirlwind of excitement, connections, and opportunities! It was fantastic to reunite with so many familiar faces and to meet new people who share our passion for great products and innovation in the CPG industry. Some of the highlights for us were: 🏆 Our NEXTY Finalist nomination in Adult Non-Alc Beverage (Congrats, Ghia, on the win!) 🌿 Seeing our Sprouts Farmers Market team (Katie Woodcock and Karen Martinez) before we move off the Innovation Set onto the main shelf 🍃 Meeting our The Fresh Market team (Brittiany East) in person before our launch in April! 🎒 Running into HBS classmates who are founders or investors in the space (Kait Stephens, Liz Gordon, Kai Lim) 🙍♀️ Meeting other awesome female founders in person whom I had only connected with virtually before (Alison Cayne, Morgan Lerner, Elise Runde Voss. Not sure how I missed you AGAIN Sabeena Ladha) 👭 Our awesome volunteers Stefanie Quisenberry, Diana Wamsley, and Caroline Yang we found through Startup CPG. Chloe Bergson and I are still a team of 2, and could not have done it without their help 🌈 Meeting new buyers & potential investors who were wow'd by our differentiated form factor for cocktail and mocktail making! As the dust settles from Expo West, the real work begins – following up on all the promising conversations and connections we made. Wade Yenny posted helpful tips and advice on #ExpoWest last week. One thing he shared that we're excited to try out this year is a QR code linking to our sell sheets. I combined this advice with the advice of Madison Kennedy on Alison Cayne's podcast to make an Expo West-specific email & business card! Brilliant! See what we came up with in the photo attached. I'm hoping this will eliminate waste and streamline requests without inundating my personal inbox. Now, the star of these cards is our Brij QR code.
