We all have family traditions that make it feel like the holidays are upon us. Of course, the fresh vat of pasta sauce cooking on the stove for our many trays of homemade lasagna is one of ours. 🥹 But nothing says "it's officially Christmas" in the Murawski household until the hand-pressed Italian cookie prep begins! 🍪 This year, my mom baked nearly 2,000 cookies (we counted 😁). She packages them in decorative tins, wrapped with beautiful wire ribbon bows, and with my dad's help, we deliver them to our friends and family in New York, or mail them to those a bit farther away. (Shoutout to Ken Murawski—an integral part of our delicious deliveries!) 🚙🍪📬 My mom’s cookies have come to be a tradition that all of our loved ones look forward to receiving every year—it’s a *nice* list to be on! 😉 We all have our favorites, and “Snowballs” are one of mine. From our kitchen to yours, I hope you enjoy this recipe that's been part of our family’s Christmas cookie tradition since 1948. I couldn't imagine a year without them. 🥲 As far as what's cooking for me in the New Year, you ask?! There's lots to be excited about—including some major milestones in my personal life and at DigitalOwl. Hoot hoot! 🥳 I'm looking forward to sharing more soon...but for now, go make some Snowballs! ❄️😀
