Creative Solutions for Family Law in Charleston
About us
Dell Family Law, P.C. is a divorce and child custody litigation firm in the West Ashley area of Charleston, South Carolina. Dell Family Law, P.C. provides legal services exclusively in South Carolina Family Court, primarily representing people in cases pending in Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties. Providing efficient representation for the firm's clients is the foundation of the practice. Dell Family Law offers exceptional service that is both affordable and effective, and is committed to pursuing fairness and integrity while advocating for your interests. Many clients say they want a “bulldog” to represent them without understanding the stress, inefficiency, and cost associated with that kind of representation. We use only as much pressure as necessary to accomplish the client's goals. We do our best to resolve cases by agreement, but when it's not possible, we go to trial prepared with detailed legal arguments and factual evidence. Our office is business casual, and we rely heavily on technology.

Life can be full of ups and downs, and these ups and downs affect our children, too. It's important to talk to your child about it in a way they can understand. Here's a great way to get the conversation started: Read a book together and ask questions! Their answers can give clues about their feelings and open the door to a deeper conversation. You can healthily address their fears and worries by talking openly and honestly with your child.

Two is enough for a family! "From playing on the beach to a rainy-day ride, to double-scoop treats and crash-landing in leaves, two can be the perfect number for creating life's memories. And two can definitely be enough for a warm family, full of the love, support, and comfort that every child needs."

When a party files a Motion for Temporary Relief in divorce proceedings, they ask the Court to determine what will happen while the case is going on. Typical requests for relief include: → Decide who gets to live in the home during the case → Decide who has to pay for the home during the case → Restrain the parties from depleting marital assets or incurring marital debts during the case → Establish a temporary spousal support obligation so that the receiving party can maintain their standard of living during the case → Determine who has custody of the children during the case → Establish a visitation schedule and child support → Restrain the parties from participating in “bad” behavior around the children (exposing them to boyfriends/girlfriends, drinking excessively, etc.) Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/eh-a_FdB

We understand that kinship placement might bring challenges. Families going through kinship care experience an adjustment period. This children's book explains kinship care in a way that can help young minds understand the situation. It might be a helpful resource to read together as a family. It can open up a conversation about how your new family came to be and offer a sense of normalcy for the child.
