Their technologies harness #MarineEnergy for a range of blue economy applications such as ocean observation and navigation, marine aquaculture, and underwater vehicle charging. Each winning team received $10,000 and is now eligible to compete in the DEVELOP Phase. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) has launched the $1M prize challenge “NEI Expand OHDSI Initiative for Eye Care and Ocular Imaging Challenge” to grow the OHDSI network for #VisionResearch. This challenge invites researchers to submit innovative ideas for using the network to improve #EyeCare and advance vision science. Great news! The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Endocrine-Disrupting Chemicals (EDC) Innovator Award Competition has announced the six winners of Phase 2! This challenge, hosted by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) and the Office on Women's Health (OWH), aimed to find innovative programs that close knowledge gaps and reduce the risk of EDC exposure—especially for Black or African American women. The goal was to support programs that are effective, sustainable, and can be expanded or replicated to address this important health issue. Congratulations to the winners!
