At the beginning of our journey, everything I read said take your business as far as possible on your own. After doing that, we reached a crossroads where most first-time founders ask, "What do I do next?" In 2021, we made a pivotal move from Austin, Texas, to Michigan to join the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and tech hubs here. It was in Michigan that we began to hone in on our vision for Reaction Technologies. With the help of organizations such as Ann Arbor SPARK Centrepolis Accelerator @ Lawrence Technological University Invest Detroit, VentureWell, Black Tech Saturdays,EMU Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation EMU Center for Digital Engagement and others, we started to learn what it takes to build a successful business. Without the support of these organizations in areas like funding, business development, and product development, I honestly don't know if we would be where we are today. We will continue to lean on the Michigan ecosystem as we look to raise capital and launch our hardware and software products. At the heart of Reaction Technologies is a commitment to people: a commitment to young athletes who dream of playing at the highest levels; a commitment to the parents of these athletes who want nothing more than to see their children safe and having fun; and a commitment to the coaches who bear the responsibility of leading their teams to success without compromising their athletes' safety. Our goal at Reaction Technologies is to be part of the solution that enhances athlete safety and performance.
