First Look: Habitat for Humanity Wall Printing 👀 Last Friday, we kicked off the printing process for two affordable homes! These are the first low-income single family homes in Brevard County constructed with #3Dprinted technology. 🤖 🏠 This project is a collaboration between Space Coast Habitat for Humanity, Macedonia CDC, Wells Fargo, City of Melbourne, Space Coast Association of REALTORS®, Community Foundation for Brevard, LLG Architecture, and Apis Cor 🤝 “We are so honored and excited to lead this transformative, game-changing effort to create affordable, resilient homes for families in need,” said Anna T., Executive Director of Space Coast Habitat for Humanity. “Using robotic technology developed here on Florida’s Space Coast, we hope to usher in the future of quality home construction that costs less to build and maintain.” “We’re proud to join Space Coast Habitat for Humanity and Macedonia CDC to create more affordable homes in Melbourne and help put families into their first home,” said Kate Wilson, Senior Vice President, Community Relations at Wells Fargo. “For building affordable homes like the two planned for Space Coast Habitat for Humanity, Apis Cor can provide homebuilders savings of time, cost and labor,” states Anna Cheniuntai, Apis Cor's co-founder and COO. “Our construction process can be 3x faster than traditional construction and our proprietary concrete material is 33% stronger than concrete block.
