🌾In 2019, L.A. Linière crossed paths with Constructions-3D, marking the beginning of a collaboration rooted in sustainability and innovation. Seeking locally sourced, bio-based materials for its structures—starting with "The Pavilion," their very first project—Constructions-3D naturally turned to the cooperative for flax shives. This partnership aimed to develop more sustainable and eco-friendly construction methods by leveraging renewable, local natural resources like flax. This collaboration proved to be a technological milestone, showcasing how alternative, local, and carbon-negative materials can redefine building construction. The project has since become a reference point for sustainable architecture. Fast forward to today: L.A. Linière has expanded its activities into the construction market, launching Bâtilin, a subsidiary dedicated to sustainable building solutions. We had the pleasure of reconnecting with Maxime Stievenard, Head of Business Development at Bâtilin, to explore his vision for the future of flax cultivation and its transformative potential in construction. On the occasion of the ReBuild Ukraine exhibition on November 13 and 14, we are proud to share a new video showcasing the creation of a 3D concrete-printed demonstrator. 🔹 This structure, built around a shelter, was printed directly on-site using the #MaxiPrinter and the expertise of only two operators. This demonstration perfectly illustrates the efficiency, precision, and autonomy our technology offers to meet the demands of rapid and sustainable construction.
