At last week’s Q2B, the “Building the Quantum Workforce” panel provided an inspiring look at how we can shape a diverse and resilient talent pipeline for this rapidly emerging field. Interdisciplinary skill development, global collaboration, and a culture of entrepreneurial thinking all stand out as critical elements in scaling quantum innovation. Thanks to the panelists—Dr. Erik Garcell, Catherine Lefebvre, PhD, Pedro Leopoldo e Silva Lopes, and Mads Bahrami—for sharing their insights and sparking meaningful conversations. Let’s work together to create clear career pathways, flexible curricula, and accessible opportunities that empower individuals from all backgrounds. #QuantumComputing #QuantumWorkforce #QuantumInnovation #DiversityInTech #TalentDevelopment #STEMEducation #EmergingTech #GlobalCollaboration #FutureOfWork

When biological data becomes seamlessly computable, it opens the door for more analyses. It enables researchers, educators, and students to rapidly identify patterns, test hypotheses, visualize results, and drive discoveries forward. By reducing the technical challenges of handling large-scale biological information, scientists and scholars can focus on what truly matters—generating insights and expanding our collective understanding of life’s complexities. #Bioinformatics #DataAnalysis #Transcriptomics #Protein #ComputationalBiology #DataVisualization #Health #Disease
The Human Protein Atlas (https://lnkd.in/g2GexESt) data is now a part of the Wolfram Data Repository (https://lnkd.in/gNWVgr7S)! It is one of the most comprehensive datasets that aims to map all the human proteins in cells, tissues, and organs. Most of the data is based on transcriptomics analysis of the expression levels of different human genes in human brain, tissues and cells. The Human Protein Atlas WDR is based on The Human Protein Atlas version 23.0 and Ensembl version 109. The current version of the Data Repository covers the Tissue Atlas, Brain Atlas, Pathology Atlas, Single Cell Atlas, and Subcellular Atlas. With this data being an integral part of the Wolfram Language, users can use its wide range of analysis (in the domain of statistics, graphs, etc) and visualization tools to extract meaningful biological insights from the data beyond what the Protein Atlas website offers. My community post (https://lnkd.in/g78c5Kvt) covers some of these, but with Wolfram Language, the possibilities are much more! I am thankful to thousands of scientists who have worked tirelessly to make this data publicly available. It is a gift to mankind! Feel free to reach out with any questions about the analysis techniques used. #Wolfram #Bioinformatics #Transcriptomics #Protein #DataVisualization #Health #Disease

#Quantum #Potato #Chip! We're thrilled to present our latest preprint, diving into the concept of "quantum potato chips"—our playful term for exploring the "most classical", "correlation-free", or "informationally-minimal" qubit states (neither of these terms are our favorite, though). This is a work where we dive into understanding "what is a qubit state?" from a foundational, geometric perspective. Throughout this work, we emphasized reproducibility by including the exact code we used for each derivation and visualization—ensuring transparency and allowing others to build directly on our findings. While we’ve outlined a few practical applications, the full potential of this approach remains an open question, inviting further exploration. Check it out, and let’s discuss! https://lnkd.in/gEE48unf https://lnkd.in/gbqnWie5 https://lnkd.in/gBPSkyX7
