Many founders make the mistake of diving headfirst into AI with huge projects. They expect AI to take over large parts of their business right away. It’s like they want AI to run the business instead of them. This approach often wastes time and money and brings tons of frustration. The companies that succeed with AI integration often start small. They pick one area where AI can make a quick impact and focus on that. Once they see results, they build from there, step by step. Small wins build confidence and show how AI can fit into the bigger picture. AI integration isn’t about doing everything at once. It’s about making progress one piece at a time. Start small, adjust and then delegate. Without a proper foundation, your AI efforts will crush miserably. Want to build one? DM me.

Is ChatGPT the Peak of the AI World? Nowadays, people make the mistake of assuming AI is all about ChatGPT. It has even become synonymous with AI itself. But what most people fail to realize is that ChatGPT is just a large language model (LLM). But AI isn’t limited to that. Like any business, the more specialized an AI model is, the more accurate its results will be. If you’ve heard of Stockfish—the world’s best chess engine—you understand that AI can be much more than LLMs. Everyone treats ChatGPT like a supermarket where everything is available. But AI can also be specialized solutions from AI vendors that outperform in niche tasks. 3 reasons why I think like that: 𝟭. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗜 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 Since ChatGPT has access to a wide variety of content, its results can be off. That's one reason it fails at basic mathematics. In contrast, AI vendors offering specialized solutions have specific knowledge bases and models tailored to your needs. They provide precise answers based on focused data relevant to your industry. Without specialization, results can miss the mark. 𝟮. 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 My clients who have worked with specialized AI vendors find them more satisfactory than ChatGPT. Because the solutions follow predefined rules. If something doesn’t fit within AI's knowledge base, they won't give you a vague answer. But ChatGPT doesn't hesitate to spit out wrong answers. 𝟯. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 Just like a growing business trains its employees, AI solutions from vendors should be trainable. But LLMs like ChatGPT don’t allow much customization without hefty fees. Whereas Specialized AI vendors offer systems you can train and adjust according to your business needs. Customization makes AI truly work for you. PS. For more tips on practical AI applications for your business, follow Benjamin Bohman.

Over a year into retirement, and I finally realized I should probably update my LinkedIn profile! I knew retirement would be fun and I wouldn't be bored, but I didn't think social media would take such a backseat. Lately, I’ve seen many of my Intel friends & colleagues “retiring/leaving” and their updates inspired me to dive back into providing a few updates! In the coming days, I’ll be sharing some highlights from my retirement adventures (e.g. 25 Ski days, 3 months in Europe, joined the board of an IOT Security StartUp). Opposing Opinion: My wife might argue I haven’t had a free minute since the "HoneyDo List" hasn't been touched. 😁 Recently, I recorded a video with Benjamin Bohman discussing various topics, including one of my favorites: Computer Vision. Take a look - it was a fun discussion and of course let me know what you think. Post a comment on Benjamin's page!
