  • 🌥️ Cloud Security technology often feels like a jumble of random acronyms – CNAPP, CIEM, KSPM, DSPM, etc… While each of these tools has a place, we need people to orchestrate all that technology to fit unique business needs. That manual configuration takes time, effort, and honestly – it’s downright boring. Cloud security cannot be an afterthought, but it cannot be a chore either. We need developers to be able to clearly understand what can go wrong, what is being fixed, why it is being fixed, and how it will impact their operations. The only way to do this at scale is with automation – but the only way to do it *right* is with human expertise guiding the way. 💡 Explore the missing element of cloud security in our blog: https://hubs.ly/Q03037TD0

Fixing your cloud can seem like an endless battle of give and take. You want to stay secure by remediating misconfigurations, but you also don’t want to risk breaking what IS working – which can end up costing you more than the original misconfiguration did in the first place 🫰 We’ve identified three key ways to prevent expensive remediation errors: 🏈 𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐟𝐟⁣⁣⁣ – orchestration is key as engineers pass off remediation guidance to DevOps. ⚒️ 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮⁣⁣⁣ – automation is your friend (so long as there are experts overseeing it) – look for solutions to auto-patch common vulnerabilities and reduce workload. ➰ 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐩 – follow a continuous model of regular cloud security assessments and consistent feedback between devs and engineers. Close out 2024 with the Great CNAPP Debate The CloudSec market in 2025 is bigger than ever, but with that comes no small amount of uncertainty. I’m excited to sit down with James Berthoty on Wednesday to discuss his recent guide to the future of cloud security. And we’re hosting our conversation live, so you can listen in 🎧 James and I may disagree on some fundamental points (you’ll have to watch to find out), but one thing is clear – there is no magic tool that can solve your cloud security problems. Success depends on addressing people and processes, rather than just technology. You can check out James’s substack report before here – https://lnkd.in/g8PYF4Wf

  • Your burning #CloudSec questions, answered. Join us in 2 days for the Great CNAPP Debate, a live webinar event.
