We were delighted to attend #OaklandUndivided’s event last week at which $38.5M of investment in connectivity projects for Oakland, CA was announced. Aervivo is proud to be part of realizing the vision of Oakland Housing Authority, delivering high-speed, reliable WiFi to over 1,000 residents in four communities. This is one of many projects we’ve been working on in affordable housing communities. A quick introduction to the new Aervivo CommandIQ app!

At Aervivo we are focused on enabling both property owners and their residents to control and customize their connectivity experience when they partner with us to deliver gigabit speed, managed WiFi across their community. As part of our investment in creating an outstanding resident experience, we are excited to announce the launch of the Aervivo CommandIQ smartphone app (iOS and Android) that allows residents to take control of their in-unit network. Prior to move-in, residents are invited to download the app for their community. They can immediately start creating their own account and configuring their network so that as they walk-in everyone in the family is connected and protected. Aervivo can also adapt the look and feel of the app to reflect our property owner's branding, allowing them to emphasize the partnership and value they are investing in and providing consistent brand messaging to their residents.

We're excited to announce the completion of another gigabit managed WiFi retrofit at a 298 unit apartment community in May! Our Partner used our game-changing AerHub to quickly distribute a new fiber service to each building, delivering a multi-Gbps service without having to trench fiber across the 25+ building, 25+ acre garden-style community. As there were no utility closets, each building was retrofitted with a small enclosure with a environmentally hardened switch that connected to the AerHub via a fiber jumper. All the buildings had existing Cat 5e wiring which was patched into the switch enclosure, delivering a symmetric Gbps service to each unit, and the managed WiFi routers that were installed.
