We're excited to announce the completion of another gigabit managed WiFi retrofit at a 298 unit apartment community in May! Our Partner used our game-changing AerHub to quickly distribute a new fiber service to each building, delivering a multi-Gbps service without having to trench fiber across the 25+ building, 25+ acre garden-style community. As there were no utility closets, each building was retrofitted with a small enclosure with a environmentally hardened switch that connected to the AerHub via a fiber jumper. All the buildings had existing Cat 5e wiring which was patched into the switch enclosure, delivering a symmetric Gbps service to each unit, and the managed WiFi routers that were installed. This week we finished a #KNX residential project in Surrey for a long standing client. The scope included distribution of #IT #AV and #CCTV. The property also has #KNX control of the heating lighting and switchable smart glass, for added privacy, and control of solar gain, as well as the water features in the garden. As you can see we deployed a Gira 106 gate entry system, and combined it with the Gira G1 at the front door to allow the client to not only have control of the gate from anywhere, but also audio and visual feedback when the call button is pressed. This particular part was interesting as the client specified a flush mount finish for the Gira 106 which as we found out, was not readily available in the UK.
