    When my colleague Jaya Gupta and I first wrote about the service-as-software paradigm shift 6 months ago, we had a few ideas about how this was playing out in the real world. For newer reps, it can stretch to 20 hours. That’s almost 40% of their week spent on non-selling activities. With an average per-rep OTE of $85k, a team of 15 is spending > $400k annually on tasks that could be automated. This used to be unavoidable. But today, with the right technology, that 10-15 hours can be reduced to 0.
