    Last week, my 3 1/2 year old was home with a fever and made an appearance on a call... with my CEO... and a prospect... Not only did she make an appearance, she was hiding behind my chair and then popping out, putting crazy things on her head and dancing around, making silly faces, clearly her Tylenol was working! And in true threenager fashion, refused to go back upstairs to watch her Spiderman and Friends show while I finished up the call. 🥴 cringe, right? Wrong! George not only smiled and waved at her, he sent me this message after the fact. "Great job today and thank you - I know it is tough when you have a sick little one! Lastly, NEVER worry if any of your kids engage when you are on a call - it is awesome and that is what they are suppose to do. AND, you handled it like a pro. So well done! Your a good Mom and that is definitely priority #1 - always!" THIS is the kind of CEO I will always want to work for. One who appreciates that there is more to life than a job. One who calls out how being a parent is always your top priority. One who understands what remote work reality looks like. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this job at accelant is my favorite job I have every had. And George A. Roadman is one of the many reasons I enjoy my job as much as I do.
