Organic growth is community-led!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone wants organic growth but not everyone cares (or is curious) enough to genuinely earn it. This summer has been fun, fast, and feel-good at Aavia. But not without a lot of hard work and dedication to continuously meet people where they are, reach them with "taboo" topics that FYPs don't always like, and lead with transparency and education for members to finally feel safe with a type of product they haven't trusted in the past. We're only halfway through August, and @lutealgirl (aka Julia Pintar), has already reached 10M+ people on the internet this month. Special kudos to Julia who has been leading our content strategy exceptionally and brilliantly. Thank you for being the older sister that tens of thousands look up to every day, and making their voices heard so that our team can keep building the hormone health hub of all our dreams. Proud of our team for never skipping the 0-1 work. Are we still sidelining women's health in sports? 👇 New data from England’s Women’s Super League reveals a 6x higher injury risk at certain points in a player’s menstrual cycle. This kind of data is crucial as we push forward in women's sports—accurate stats on performance and injury prevention will change the game. More research needs to be invested in to fully understand and support our athletes' health. I was captain of my soccer team and captain of my basketball team. If I would have known then what I know now -- that risk of injury, quality of muscle toning, energy levels, and more vary based on where you are in your cycle -- I would have had my teams train differently! I feel proud to be building Aavia, a tool I wish I had across training, sleep, mood, and more growing up, that will benefit half of the world's population!

It’s been a huge kickoff into 2024 building Aavia with and for our members—closer together and faster than ever before! As Women’s History Month comes to an end, I wanted to share my personal story for starting Aavia as a cofounder and Head of Design & Experience. For a long time, I suffered migraines where I would lose parts of my vision. I’d go to see doctors trying to understand why, but after a series of appointments with neurologists and optometrists, my doctors only told me to “stress less.” I felt defeated. Not knowing what to do next, I went down a rabbit hole of learning how much hormones impact so much more than just our periods, from mood, sleep, energy, focus, and more. I was able to identify that my migraines were a cyclical pattern and only then was I able to get the right diagnosis, related to my hormones. Our goal at Aavia is for our members to improve their quality of life, feel better and in control, and learn to be their own best advocates to their doctors, partners, employers, and beyond.
