Se debe partir por definir la perdida en base a la comparación del rendimiento actual de los equipos VS las hojas de características de funcionalidad y capacidad del fabricante. En base a esto 1. Definir e identificar la perdida por cada equipo y por obsolescencia de los mismos. 2. Descartar a través del análisis de procesos, las perdidas por factor humano 3. Verificar que las condiciones de la materia prima cumplen con los requerimientos del estándar de equipos y proceso. 4. Realizar un plan sincronizado de mantenimiento y mejoras para optimizar el funcionamiento de los equipos y del proceso.

Para aumentar a eficiência e produtividade em uma fábrica antiga com baixo OEE, é necessário realizar uma análise completa do equipamento, identificar os problemas e implementar os princípios da manufatura enxuta. Capacitar a equipe com treinamento em novas tecnologias, otimizar os processos e realizar manutenção preventiva são medidas eficazes. Overall equipment efficiency can be measured in a manufacturing company and there are a lot of factors to consider to achieve this, it deals with cycle time per machine. The number of parts per cycle and down time so to have an efficient run 24/7. Machines and tooling’s should have scheduled maintenance, moving parts must have spares specially the ones that are prone to wear and tear, and most importantly a clean sweep from the maintenance guys on the machine along with the tools does really help with proper training and motivation your team can focus to prevent break downs that may affect OEE.
