Honesty is key—I share both positives and uncertainties while explaining the "why" behind the change. I encourage two-way communication by inviting feedback and addressing concerns promptly. By empowering leaders to cascade messages and regularly following up with updates, I build trust and keep everyone aligned throughout the process.

Have a consistent cadence of touchpoints and meet employees where they are across channels. For example, this may include sharing updates at monthly All Hands meetings as well as communicating via email and other employee forums. Plan for smaller group discussions across departments and teams too, where employees may feel more comfortable asking questions. Anticipate employee questions and certain and proactively address them in an FAQ.
