Em minha experiência BIM, algumas práticas são essenciais, são etapas que não podem ser atropeladas, são elas: Planejamento - é fundamental se planejar, traçar metas reais, com produção reais, e traçar um plano de ação para que a equipe trabalhe sem sobrecarregamentos. Comunicação - é necessário que projetistas de diferentes disciplinas e membros de equipe, discutam o projeto, as etapas, problemas de projeto, para que ele evolua, isso em BIM é meio que obrigatório ter essa comunicação. Padronização - ter em mente que padronização agiliza os processos é fundamental em qualquer projeto BIM, facilita a extração de dados e ao final de todo projeto, faz uma grande diferença estar tudo padronizado, com os parametros certo, para a extração.

In emergency situation, Use past experience. Follow all rules and regulations. Inform your client/ supervisor regarding your assumptions, risk associated with them. Finalize your design and drawings. While client prepare for the execution of the project, Come back to the design drawings, and calcs, check and re-check all the assumptions. If you find any problem, inform your client immediately.

Communication is an underrated skill. Half of the problems get solved around planning, effort estimate delivery and quality if communicated with stakeholders at the right time, with right audience-catered structure and tone.

The formula has always been the same. Decent delivery times are equally important, not just strategies and technological tools.

Under no circumstances rush things to just meet the deadline. If you feel there is something wrong, raise the flag and inform the client that you have concern about the design, and you are not comfortable to release it without more vigorous steps taken. As a result, you will not meet the deadline. And ask for extension. - If you are in emergency situation, make more conservative assumptions and do the design with mouch more conservative approaches. Then come back, check and re-check everything twice again.
