To assure highest service quality from the vendor, you need to set a clear SLA (Service level agreement), and a corresponding KPIs (Key performance indicators)... Being clear in both makes it much easier to follow up and assure service quality. Regular audits and solid reporting system are a must too. Documenting all works, costs, visits reports,... etc., assures a much healthier relationship and provide a clear sense of accountability. Last but not least, follow a clear and logical work plan agreed by both parties. This ease the follow-up process and enhance the life time of the asset/improve the quality of task being executed.
