Location Summary
Belmond Hotel Cipriani is located on Giudecca Island, a quiet oasis away from the congestion of central Venice yet easily accessible by Hotel Motor Launch operating at regular 15 Minute intervals. Giudecca Island offers private walks and jogging trails and Hotel Cipriani boasts the only swimming pool in central Venice, tennis courts and enchanting private gardens.
Directions to Hotel
From Venice Marco Polo Airport: - Take a water-taxi for a direct transfer to hotel. Travel time is approx. 30 minutes. - Take a shared taxi boat service Alilaguna from the airport to the terminal at St Mark's Square, beside the Cipriani's private landing stage at Piazzetta San Marco. (Please note that the shared taxi boat service does not connect with every flight). - Take a bus to Piazzale Roma and then a water-taxi to the hotel. - There is also the possibility of organizing a private transfer From Piazzale Roma Car Park: Venice can be reached by car, however guests must park at the automobile garage at Piazzale Roma which is about 15 kilometers from the hotel.To reach the hotel take a taxi boat from Piazzale Roma, or public line boats. From the Railway Station: Taxi boat located in front of the railway station for direct transfer to the hotel. There is also the possibility of organizing a private transfer with the Concierge.

Banquets & Meetings
Theatrical performances, art exhibitions, concerts, gala dinners and marriages are fashionable events at the Cipriani. Receptions are planned according to each client's requests and can be held in many different areas of the Hotel, such as the restaurants, the gardens and the waterfront terraces, or even in the immense brick-walled Granaries of the Venetian Republic.
Disabled Access
The hotel reccomends that guests in wheelchairs reserve at least a junior suite to ensure that they have plenty of space.
Fine Dining On Site
Fortuny Restaurant: Delicately blown glass, precious fabrics and amber-coloured mirrors, magnificent views of the lagoon and architectural details reminiscent of St. Mark's dome come together to create the perfect setting for a relaxed candlelit dinner with simple, fresh and perfectly prepared food.The Fortuny Restaurant, with its two terraces by the lagoon (the Fortuny Terrace and the Antique Terrace), can also be reserved for special events or private parties. Cip's Club: Located on a floating deck, with the most beautiful views across the lagoon to St Mark's Square is Cip's Club Restaurant. Its service and food are refined but casual, and very Venetian. The Cip's has a private landing and a number of spaces for mooring private boats. Porticciolo Pool Restaurant: The informal poolside Restaurant, located by the swimming-pool, serves alfresco, buffet-style lunches and snacks, including an enticing array of regional specialities and drinks. Open for lunch from 12.00pm to 4.00pm. For a drink or an aperitif guests at the Cipriani can choose among the Gabbiano Bar, facing the pool and a real landmark of the Cipriani.

Child Programs

Pool Outdoor
The only Olympic pool in central Venice, the filtered salt-water pool is heated in the colder months.
Spa Facility
The romantic Casanova Spa is named after the legendary lover who once held clandestine trysts in the fragrant and colourful gardens of the Hotel Cipriani. Guests can pamper themselves with special treatments by Aromatherapy Associates and Sothys or with a massage. Special massages for mother-to-be are also available. The Casanova Wellness Centre also includes a hair salon, offering a full range of styling.
Tennis Courts On Site
The hotel's red clay tennis court, the only one in central Venice, is situated in the beautiful Venetian garden of the hotel, on the edge of the lagoon.
Boating
Guests at the Cipriani can explore the beauty of the lagoon on board of the hotel private boat.
Golfing
During the months of March, April and October, the hotel's private launch leaves every morning at 9:30 am for the Golf Course Alberoni (40 minutes).
Recommended Rooms
One of the most magnificent rooms at the Cipriani is without any doubt the awe-inspiring Dogaressa Suite. This Suite is located right opposite St. Mark's square and the world-famous piazza appears through its four gothic windows. The sitting room is decorated with original Coromandel screens, antique Chinese lamps and Fortuny and Rubelli fabrics. The imposing, airy bedroom overlooks peaceful gardens; a spacious corridor leads to an elegant pink-marble bathroom.
The Palladio Suite is another gem of the Cipriani, it recreates the fairy tale that is Venice in a magical space spun out of light, transparent crystal and pure air. Guests enjoy a 180 degree view over the Venetian lagoon, a large terrace with an outdoor heated long plunge pool and a heated Jacuzzi whirlpool.
