Missing post on Tech Community
Hi there, I asked a question last week and it's gone... I appreciate it may be in moderation, but should I expect to see it under my profile with some sort of tag 'awaiting approval'? I can't see it in my post history at all. The url of the missing post was: techcommunity.microsoft.com/discussions/sharepoint_general/created-by-vs-app-created-by-columns---sharepoint-lists/4343510 and it's discoverable if I google 'created by vs app created by sharepoint lists' (pic of the search result inserted below) but when I click I get 'This message cannot be found'. (Incidentally clicking on 'Go to community home' shows 'internal server error'.)
Does OneDrive for personal account work yet?
I have been using Dropbox to sync my Word and Excel files. The reason so is because Dropbox allows me to choose what files I want uploaded where I can create custom folders to store them in. The last time I activated OneDrive, it began to upload ALL my files from my computer, including big video files. When I aborted the upload, all the files being uploaded were lost. Luckley I had them backed up on a local drive, but to suffice to say that I am hestitant to use Onedrive again. Has Microsoft finally updated Onedrive to allow users to determine what files they want uploaded and where? Will mt files be safe from being lost? If not, I am thinking of moving to Google or Zoho platforms becauseI have doubts that Microsoft understands how cloud storage actually works for non enterprise platforms. Hey Guys I have implemented Intune & Defender for Endpoint for an organization ( License : Microsoft Business Premium ) Most devices are onboarded to Intune and Defender but i am having issue for a device ( Windows surface pro 11th Edition ) This device is enrolled in Intune but not onboarding to Defender for Endpoint, I have tried both methods i.e By Intune and local script too. Anyone have any idea what will be the issue ?? Thanks
I want to set default apps for all AAD joined devices on our network.
Hi I am trying to deploy a configuration which changes the default apps on a manage engine device. I found this support article by Manage Engine - https://pitstop.manageengine.com/portal/en/community/topic/how-to-setup-default-programs I tried to deploy it but it did not work for AAD joined devices. I want to know if it is possible set default apps for all devices that are joined via AAD through Manage Central endpoint, or Windows GPO or register keys?Microsoft Tech Community messaging broken
Long, long time user, first time poster in this discussion... I used to be able to receive and send direct messages. I currently have 8 unread messages. *Eight.* But, when I go to read them, the page has no content, and it just spins and spins, and nothing comes up. Now, it's been barely working for a while- but why *have* the feature if it is clearly abandoned? Is messaging ever going to work again? How do I download the messages I have gotten that have info in them I can use?Weird forum header
More nonsense: the top of the Excel forum now looks like this: There are two 'Start a Discussion' buttons. Clicking the 'Microsoft Community Hub' results in Clicking the link 'Go to community home' results in exactly the same error. There is no link to this Lounge, as there used to be. There is a link to Mixcrosoft Support Community (answers.microsoft.com) - perhaps because that works better?
