Testbirds is gespecialiseerd in het testen van digitale producten, zoals apps, websites, connected devices en enterprise software. Het bedrijf levert een breed scala aan testoplossingen die erop gericht zijn om de gebruiksvriendelijkheid en functionaliteit van software te optimaliseren. Meer dan 1.000.000 geregistreerde testers verspreid over 193 landen maken Testbirds tot een van ’s werelds leiders op het gebied van crowdtesting. Testbirds heeft daarnaast cloudgebaseerde testtoepassingen ontwikkeld, ter optimalisatie van software en digitale producten. Deze uitzondelijke combinatie van testoplossingen, op basis van crowd- én cloudtechnologieën, komt samen in Testbirds’ unieke Testing 4.0-aanpak, waarmee het bedrijf samen met hun klanten de kwaliteit van software naar het hoogste niveau tilt. Testbirds werd in 2011 in München opgericht door Philipp Benkler, Georg Hansbauer en Markus Steinhauser. Momenteel heeft het bedrijf zo’n 100 medewerkers in dienst. Naast het hoofdkantoor in München zijn er ook kantoren in Amsterdam, Londen en Stockholm, franchises in Hongarije en Slowakije en salespartners in Italië en Noord-Amerika.
