Recently, we traded our office for a day in Meerkerk, where Willem van der Schoot hosted our team in his amazing barn. Together, we dove deep into Sumthing’s journey so far and explored bold ideas for what’s next. 💡 Willem’s wealth of experience gave us fresh perspectives, and we returned to Amsterdam with our heads (and notebooks) full of exciting new plans. We're excited for the future. Thanks a million, Willem! 🙌 🌱

💚 This Green Friday, we flipped the script! 💚 Together with B Lab Benelux, we wanted to turn Black Friday into a day of action for the planet. So, we decided to look for businesses that instead of fueling consumption, wanted to support Plastic Fischer GmbH to help clean up our environment! Together, we've supported the collection of 10.975KG of river plastic. The best news? Plastic Fischer is going to DOUBLE this impact, which means 21.950 of plastic is going to be taken out of the environment as a result of our collective actions. Individual actions might look small, but every contribution adds up. Last week we joined our friends of Stichting StukjeNatuur to plant trees with the team of Expat Mortgages! 🌲🌳 At the beautiful Landgoed Schovenhorst in Putten, we enriched the forest with a wide variety of trees to boost the forest's biodiversity and resilience. And of course the results were all captured using some cutting-edge technology 📸🌱 On behalf of the forest: thank you to the entire team for all your help, enthusiasm and for the great fun we've had! 💚

This Green Friday morning, we teamed up with Dille & Kamille in Utrecht, Amsterdam, and Rotterdam, joined by about 20 incredible B Corps, to clean the streets. 🌍✨ What we found was lots of plastic, cigarette butts, and trash scattered everywhere. But what stood out more? The energy, teamwork, and commitment to making a positive change. 💪 A massive thanks to everyone who joined us in proving that this day can be a force for good. 💚 Let’s keep this momentum going. #GreenFriday #BCorps #DoSumthing

When I spoke to nature restoration teams worldwide, they all shared one challenge: showing their impact in an engaging way. Partnering with DroneDeploy meant we're now enabling projects worldwide to showcase their impact through automated mapping. With just a basic drone, projects can now capture their sites and show the impact they are making with detailed 2D/3D maps and immersive 360° views. The quality sometimes still blows my mind. You can even spot individual flowers blooming! What's next? We're beta testing DroneDeploy's AI to automatically identify and track trees, making impact reporting way more precise. Big shoutout to Rebecca L. for allowing us to experiment with the beta product.
