After a successful collaboration with YouTuber Integza, in which we printed specialized porous components, we jumped into a new project with YouTuber Mike Shake. This time, we have 3D-printed a complete sword in 316L stainless steel, designed with a unique porous structure that undergoes rigorous testing in his latest video 🗡️. With this project, we continue to demonstrate the potential of additive manufacturing to achieve complex, functional, and creative designs that are beyond the reach of traditional methods. Today we are printing a hybrid part with the Ziknes robot cell. The first part was printed in Stainless Steel 316L with our Additive Industries MetalFab, and is now getting its final touch by adding Inconel with the Meltio engine. Last week, Jaap Bulsink and Bob van Lochem attended the Let’s Print the Future event organized by Festo. This event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with visitors through interesting presentations, interactive demonstrations, and innovative solutions.
