2 days with 300 attendees live and online! This year, we celebrated remarkable milestones in generative AI alongside our partners Kickstart AI, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and Google at our first-ever #GenAI Marketplace at #ING. Here’s what we achieved in 2024: ✅ We scaled the first GenAI-powered daily banking chatbot in the Netherlands, delivering faster, smarter responses while enhancing risk detection and conversation insights. ✅ Hyper-Personalisation: Launched HyPE, our GenAI-driven tool that personalises customer journeys, tailoring messages across emails, push notifications, and more. ✅ Risk Summarisation: Strengthened fraud detection with GenAI, making global risk management faster and more consistent. ✅ Wholesale Banking: Advanced sustainability analytics to support net-zero targets and streamlined customer due diligence with AI-driven efficiencies. We’re proud of these achievements and remain committed to delivering real value for our customers and society while keeping sustainability at the core of what we do. 🦁 Here’s to a ground-breaking 2025 🚀 Bahadir Yilmaz Marielle Vesteegen Marco Li Mandri Nikoletta Bozika Andrea Alfieri Sander Stomph Turan Bulmus Max Baak Ertuğrul Dalboy Tomáš Matyska Merve TUGRAN Morris Groot Beumer Hazal Koptagel Svara Mandrekar Nathan Bijleveld Bart Buter Arda Kaygan Christopher Pironti Farzam Fanitabasi Hilal Donmez Jarno Smit Sahil Agrawal Dimitrios Papadimas Christos Kaparakis

Feeling inspired after #BlackHat Europe! 🌐 Proud to see #ING leading the charge in AI and cybersecurity. Our session on using #AI to enhance our cybersecurity posture was well-received and sparked great discussions! If you missed it, here are the key takeaways: 1. AI’s role in cybersecurity: AI is a game-changer, and infusing it into cybersecurity is absolutely crucial to keep us ahead of the curve. 2. Importance of collaboration: Building strong networks and sharing insights are vital. Collective intelligence and cooperation are our best defences. 3. Looking ahead to 2025: The future of cybersecurity lies in adaptive AI systems that evolve with the threat landscape, ensuring robust and resilient defences. We're grateful for the opportunity to share and learn. Let’s keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in #cybersecurity.💡🔐 Thanks to everyone representing the great work we've done this year: Eduardo Barbaro, Roberto Moratore, Andrew Paterson, Tomi Jerenko, Akram Al Sawaf, Dennis Vermeulen, Aladdin Bouzghiba, Christoph Strabel, Marc Jansen, Guido van Bommel, Monique Bouwmeester and Mariam van der Helm 🤝 🙌

Being inclusive at ING also extends to those who care for persons with a disability. Here, our colleague, Peter, who is a carer for his son, gives us a rare glimpse of his world: “Since having my son, I’ve discovered there’s a whole world of healthcare that I had previously little idea about. Sometimes this feels completely separate from the ‘regular’ world, so it’s like our family constantly crosses between the two. To help bridge that gap, it might be useful if people understood just how much goes on outside the office for colleagues with disabilities or medical needs.” Thank you for sharing your experiences with us Peter! That’s the bee’s knees! Wonderful news ING Nederland👏
🏆 We have been declared Best Bank of the Netherlands in 2024 by The Banker. And we are proud of it! 🌿 Especially our sustainability strategy is much appreciated. A sustainable society is achievable. For everyone. That is why we take the necessary steps together with our customers. For example, in the area of financial health and the climate. 💪 Because we believe that one cannot exist without the other. Do you have control over your money? Then it is easier to make choices for a better climate. We feel responsible for that. Just like for the influence we ourselves have on our planet. In this way, we are building a sustainable future together. 🧡 We thank our customers for their trust and our colleagues for their commitment, every day! #INGNederlandAwards #ING #Teamwork

Tonight #ING joins #PurpleLightUp! 💜 This is to mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities (#IDPD) and celebrate the contributions of our employees with disabilities in the workplace. We’ve had a full day of events across ING, including panel discussions and online sessions. We’ve also launched ING’s global Disability & Neuro-inclusion strategy, which aims to create a culture and environment where people with disabilities and neurodiverse conditions, and those that care for them, feel like they belong and can reach their full potential. #InternationalDayofPersonsWithDisabilities

“I can walk a marathon like any other able-bodied person, but just give me five days!”. This is what our colleague Jorg, who has cerebral palsy, openly shared with us. Today, on #InternationalDayofPersonsWithDisabilities, we share his story with you. Jorg continues, “Essentially, my brain is overworking. Take for example a simple motion like raising your right hand. When most people do this, their brain will send a signal directly to their hand telling it exactly what to do. For me, there’s some miscommunication involved! This means I’m in a constant state of tension, and so there are certain tasks that take a lot of energy.” Regardless of the challenges he faces, he wishes to be known as Jorg, who has a disability, rather than ‘Jorg with a disability’. We can make his wish happen by seeing life through his eyes. Click on the link to read more and to meet your colleagues where they are: https://lnkd.in/eagR4UAd
