We are proud and excited to announce that Techlinic and JINNOVATE has been awarded two significant grants by the Israel Innovation Authority רשות החדשנות! These grants will enable us to continue and expand the Innovation Center activities in East Jerusalem in 2025, driving innovation, entrepreneurship and economic growth. In just one year since Jinnovate was founded, we have achieved key milestones: Partnerships with leading medical innovation centers such as ARC Innovation at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, Shaare Zedek Scientific (Madait) at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem and Takwin VC, providing our entrepreneurs with the mentorship and resources needed to scale our Health-Tech startups. The 12 Health-Tech portfolio startups are developing cutting-edge solutions to improve healthcare and the quality of life for communities in East Jerusalem and beyond. Our bold goal remains: to see the first unicorn emerge from East Jerusalem within five years. Strategic collaborations with global medical, academic, and entrepreneurial entities ensure our startups have access to the best tools, networks and opportunities to thrive. We have launched two entrepreneurial programs for hospitals in East Jerusalem, fostering innovation and empowering healthcare leaders to address regional challenges while encouraging collaborations that will improve medical care for residents. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, advisors, and the entire Jinnovate team for their unwavering dedication. The second grant will be run directly by Techlinic and will allow us to scale our efforts in providing technology training programs, equipping youngsters in East Jerusalem with the tools and skills needed to integrate into the high-tech industry and to create employment opportunities that will break through barriers they faced until now. Since JINNOVATE was established, we have been privileged to partner with the leading global institutions in medicine and entrepreneurship.  One of the most meaningful collaborations we are proud of is with the Katz School of Science and Health & Yeshiva University, Yeshiva University Innovation Lab in New York. This semester, as part of the Capstone course—the final milestone in earning a Master of Science in Digital Marketing and Media—the students worked with three of our innovative startups: Accu-Rx, @Healers Medical Devices , and Mirror Digital Technologies , to build their go-to-market strategies. A key highlight of the project was the unique experiment of having two student teams independently tackle the startups’ business challenges. Their diverse perspectives brought creative ideas, robust research and actionable strategies to the table. There is no doubt that their insights and presentations, which suggest go-to-market strategies across a continuum of targeted audiences, will serve as invaluable tools for shaping the startups' marketing strategies as they advance toward market entry and their efforts to reach investors and customers. Last week, we concluded this collaboration when the students presented their strategies and insights during a joint Zoom meeting, leaving us inspired and excited by the quality of their work. This collaboration embodies our mission: To provide startups with the best possible toolbox, through partnerships and collaborations, to build successful, global startups. We are deeply grateful to the inspiring Prof. Thom Kennon, Director of Consulting, The Innovation Lab and to his students for their remarkable efforts. This partnership has been a true impactful part of our journey and we look forward to continuing this successful collaboration in the next semester.
