How do companies like Tesla, Patagonia, or Warby Parker stand out in saturated markets? 🧐 They lead with purpose. 🙌 Purpose-driven businesses align their models with values that resonate with both their customers and employees alike. And we wouldn’t call this a "nice-to-have," it’s a proven strategy for differentiation, loyalty, and long-term growth. But how do you build a business model that balances profit and purpose? Here’s Terry's secret sauce: 1) Start with a clear mission. Why does your business exist beyond making money? 2) Make purpose measurable. How does your product/service positively influence lives or the planet? 3) Add value in every direction. From marketing to hiring to operations, your purpose must be reflected in every corner of your business. At Netguru, we’ve helped countless clients transform their business models into powerful engines of impact and innovation. It’s not about being different—it’s about being meaningful. One thing is true, when your business model isn't just about profit but about purpose, magic happens. (Also thank you Terry Behan for the lovely Disruption Forum and all your insights 🙏 ).

Design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about solving problems for everyone. 💁♀️ But even the best designs can be undermined by bias, whether in data or assumptions. So, how do we fix it? AI. 🚀 In today’s Digital Acceleration Editorial, Bartosz Białek, Design Director at Netguru, explored how AI tools help designers eliminate bias while improving accessibility and inclusivity. 💚 Here’s the SparkNotes: 1) Uncovering bias in data: Tools like Google’s What-If Tool help identify hidden biases in datasets, ensuring designs are inclusive. 2) Improving accessibility: Tools like Stark integrate accessibility checks, making sure products work for all users. 3) Ensuring ethical content: AI-powered moderation tools help prevent harmful content and ensure inclusivity. "𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆—𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲." For Charlene Li the approach is simple yet powerful. During a discussion with Radek Zaleski in our Disruption Talks, we had the chance to pick her brain on this topic 🧠 Unlike many past innovations, AI changes how we work at a fundamental level. No IT department or complex APIs required—just a browser and a willingness to embrace the shift. However, no matter the power of AI, "it's always about the people." AI is a tool that changes the way we connect, create, and compete. But for us, it's only a co-pilot, and it can only be as great as the human touch you give it! What are your thoughts? 🤔
